Eligibility Criteria for Gour Banga University Recruitment 2016- 23 Senior Assistant & Other Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 10th December 2016. Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/SC(EC)/ST(EC) candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Educational Qualification:
1. Senior Assistant: Graduate from any recognized Indian University with Working knowledge in computer application with Hardware and Software programming from a reputed institute.
2. Technical Assistant(Computer Grade-II): Any Graduate together with a Diploma/Certificate in Computer Hardware and Networking and Software programming from a reputed institute.
3. Junior Assistant: At least H.S or equivalent qualification together with proficiency in Computer Application as evidence by a Diploma/Certificate from a reputed institute.
4. Junior Peon(Group-D): Passed Class-VIII but not more than Class-XII together with some experience is desirable in office work as a peon as evidenced by a certificate issued by the competent authority.
5. Secretary to Vice Chancellor: Graduation in any stream Shorthand Speed- 100 W/pm in English, typing ability with minimum speed 40 words per minute in English and Computer proficiency.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written examination followed by Interview.

Salary Scale: Selected candidates will get pay
Rs. 7,200-25,400/- with GP of Rs. 4,100/- for Post No. 01,
Rs. 9,000-28,300/- with GP of Rs. 4,400/- for Post No. 02,
Rs. 7,200-25,400/- with GP of Rs. 3,900/- for Post No. 03,
Rs. 5,400-18,600/- with GP of Rs. 1,800/- for Post No. 04,
Rs. 9,000-28,300/- with GP of Rs. 4,600/- for Post No. 05.
